Challenge

HCL were engaged by Morgan Sindall to supply and install a package of various fence types for a new build school. Fence types specified included CLD Dulok perimeter fence and gates, CLD Dulock Rebound and timber picket fence. Due to the sequencing of the main project our programme had to be completed under strict deadlines including flexibility as required.

Solution

The solution was to pre deliver all materials to a dedicated compound, allowing us to be reactive where required to mobilise to an alternative area. Daily communication with all contractors in the form of morning briefings and weekly collaborative planning ensure there were no interface issues, and the project was delivered smoothly.

Outcome

The outcome seen the project being completed ahead of schedule with zero incidents and zero defects. The collaborative planning and the upfront work allowed us to be reactive when any issues arose ensuring maximum productivity as a team. The end user was also very happy with the outcome leading to further work with HCL being specified on future projects.
